Nathan Cornes
Nathan’s work embraces nomadism, decentralization, and the poetic potential of imperfection. Rejecting symmetry and control, he manipulates math, noise, and chance to create systems that feel alive, flawed, and human.
ABOUT
Often working at the intersection of physical and digital, Cornes studies real-world forms and reimagines them through rule-based abstraction. He sees the Bitcoin blockchain as a natural home for his practice: a medium where malleable logic meets lasting imperfection.
His collections, including Ós, rojos, and Leviathan, have been exhibited at NFT Brasil (Bienal), MIS, Mezzanino (São Paulo), Lisbon and Las Vegas. For Nathan, generative art is about making math misbehave, bending systems to create beauty through irregularity and surprise.
Since the late ’90s, Cornes has explored digital expression through experimental websites, Flash games, teaching, and VJing. Today, he brings that same spirit to generative art.
